Questions, answered

Do I need to install anything?

No. EVS Deck Pro runs entirely in your browser — Chrome or Edge on a desktop or laptop is best. Open the link and you're behind the decks.

Does my music get uploaded to your servers?

Never. Tracks from your USB stick, hard drive or folders are read locally in your browser and played straight through the decks. Recordings save straight to your drive too.

Will this actually prepare me for real decks?

That's the whole point. The controls, layout and workflow mirror a real Pioneer controller — beatmatching, EQ, loops, headphone cueing all work the way they do on hardware, so the muscle memory transfers. And you can plug in a real MIDI controller and drive the decks from it.

What are Beats?

Beats power the magic song maker. One original track is about 10 Beats; adding your own voice is a one-time 600 Beats (then every song can carry it). Every free account starts with 50, paid plans refill monthly, and you can top up any time ($5 = 700 Beats). DJing itself never costs Beats.

How much deck time do I get?

Free accounts get 1 hour on the decks every day — it resets daily, and the deck shows you exactly when. Paid plans are unlimited: mix as long as you like.

How does the magic song maker work?

Describe a vibe in a sentence, or pick a 30-second sample as a reference. About a minute later an original track lands in your library, ready to load and mix. On premium plans you can add your own voice — sing a few lines on your phone or upload a vocal.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Choose monthly or annual billing — cancel whenever you like, keep access until the end of your paid period, and everything in your library stays yours. Annual plans bill once a year (about two months cheaper) and still deliver your Beats every month; they're refundable within 14 days if unused. See Terms.
